Bridesmaids dresses made for Sue Valentine

Sue commissioned five bridesmaids dresses for her wedding, four adult and one teen. Sue provided her own fabric (two-tone polyester shimmer-satin) and then let each bridesmaid design their own dress, so everyone got something they loved and that suited them. All the skirts were simple a-line but the necklines included a cowel, slight v-necks and straight across. Two girls had pleated oragnza straps, one simple spagettis straps and the last had little pleated organza sleeves.

Evening dress for Sue Valentine

Sue commissioned an evening dress for a special party, providing her own fabrics (silk chiffon and two tone organza). We used a dress that Sue brought with her to the first meeting as inspiration for the design. The dress has a high waistline with a v-neck crossover bodice and a bias-cut knee length skirt. The fabric over the bodice was pleated by hand and sprinkled with tiny Swarovski crystals. The under bust line and the straps were made with hand pleated two-tone organza.
