Three piece ensemble and fascinator for Mother of the Bride, Trudy
modelled by client

Trudy commissioned a classic bodice, skirt, bolero, clutch bag and fascinator ensemble to wear to her daughters wedding at Westminster Cathedral.

The outfit was made from dusty-rose coloured satin-back shantung (using the shiny 'satin-back' side outwards) and green/pink shot silk-chiffon. The boned bodice is fitted with a slightly pointed waistline and has gathered chiffon straps. It fastens with a zip and cover buttons at the back. The skirt was made in layers with the shot chiffon over the shiny shantung. The chiffon bolero has three quarter length sleeves. The bag was made from pale green satin and covered with the shot chiffon.

Fascinator for Mother of the bride, Trudy.
modelled by client

Trudy commissioned a fascinator to compliment her outfit. The basic design was inspired by the headdress that Camilla Parker Bowles for her wedding to HRH Prince Charles.

I used pink and green feathers with matching Swarovski crystal highlights graduated throughout. There were more crystals on one side on silver twisty wires. The whole piece was constructed on a silver tiara-band for easy-wear and comfort.
