Wedding dress for Ruth Baxter

Ruth commissioned her dress to a strict budget of £600. By being honest with me from the beginning I was able to create a
lovely dress within the budget Ruth had set.
The two piece outfit was made in ivory cotton velvet. The soft, unboned bodice is fitted with a square neckline and
red satin piping on the seams. It closed at the back with buttons covered in the same red satin on a feature 'cross-over'
shape. The long sleeves have pointed ends and buttons and loops to close. The simple a-line skirt was also made in velvet.
